Thursday

Aging And The Arts

Author Amy Gorman, author of "Aging Artfully," will visit the SouthShore Regional Library, 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The book is a photo documentary of 12 San Francisco Bay area women, ages 85 to 105, all of whom are actively engaged in the arts.

See Christmas Ghosts

East Bay High School's theater department will present "A Christmas Carol" on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Dickens classic will be staged at 7:30 each evening in Kathryn Hill Auditorium at the high school, 7710 Big Bend Road, Gibsonton. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Dessert is included in the ticket price.

'The Pajama Game'

The Riverview High School theater department will present "The Pajama Game" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Dec. 13-15 in the school's auditorium, 1131 Boyette Road, Riverview.

The play features songs such as "Hey There," "Hernando's Hideaway" and "Steam Heat." More than 50 students are part of the play's cast and crew.

Saturday

Make Sure To See Santa

There will be a crafters holiday market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Summerfield Community Center, 13011 Summerfield Blvd., Riverview.

Santa will make a special appearance from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The event will include 35 crafters, artists, and home-based businesses who will be selling their crafts, gifts and wares. Decorative candles, jewelry, stuffed animals, wood working, holiday wreaths, red hat gifts and ceramics are some of the craft items available.

Annual Christmas Tea

The Ruskin Woman's Club will host its annual Christmas tea on Saturday at its clubhouse, 503 S. Tamiami Trail, Ruskin.

There will be two sittings: from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Guests will be admitted 15 minutes before the tea begins. The club's historic Swiss chalet will be decorated like a winter wonderland. Members of the club will be serving scones, cakes, sandwiches and other delicacies with several types of tea.

Sunday

Calling 'Urban' Cowboys

Singer-songwriter Keith Urban rides into town at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive.

"Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour" will feature Urban's hits, as well as selections from his new album, "Love, Pain, & the whole crazy thing." Opening for Urban is Gary Allan.

Tickets are $39.75, $49.75 and $59.75 and available at the box office or by calling Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844.
