Animal Services On Holiday List?

TAMPA - Hillsborough County Animal Services, 440 Falkenburg Road, has set up an Animal Angel Tree in its lobby for people to make donations to the shelter.

The tree is decorated with ornaments made by children and shelter volunteers. Donors are invited to take home a photo ornament as a keepsake and gesture of thanks.

Wish list items include:

•Treats, biscuits, chews and peanut butter

•Toys, scratchers and stuffed animals (even gently used)

•Towels, blankets, pet beds and nonbreakable bowls

•Gentle shampoos (no flea types), brushes and flea combs

•Lysine powder, Frontline, Advantage and Revolution

•Kitty litter, crates and carriers.

The shelter accepts monetary donations for animal care.
