Fun Under The Big Top
Anastasini Entertainment will host a circus benefit event at the Westfield Brandon mall today through Dec. 2.
Performers will thrill the crowds with magic, dog, motorcycle and aerial acts, juggling, clowns and more. Proceeds will benefit Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

They Stayed In Touch
Helga Harris, author of "Dear Helga, Dear Ruth," will speak about her book at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fairway Palms clubhouse, 880 Cypress Village Blvd., Ruskin. The book showcases a series of letters between Harris and her childhood friend Ruth Scherzer Roizblatt after the two were separated in World War II and grew up in different parts of the world. Sugarplums Twirl
The Orlando Ballet returns to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa, with four full-length productions of "The Nutcracker" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The production will include the full company of 26 dancers along with about 100 students from Orlando Ballet School.
Performance dates and times are: 7:30 p.m. Friday; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $18.50 to $54.50 and are available at www.tbpac.org, or by calling (813) 229-7827.

Time To Make A List
Get in the holiday spirit at the 25th annual Santa Fest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Park and the Ybor State Museum, 1800 18th St., Ybor City.
Centennial Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with ice-skating, two giant snow slides and continual holiday entertainment.
You will also be able to visit Santa and enjoy entertainment in the courtyard of the museum, which will be offering free admission.
As the festival ends, the Krewe of Venus Holiday Parade will begin. The parade will feature more than 50 units including floats, marching bands, antique cars and dance troops.

Plan Ahead
Aging And The Arts
Author Amy Gorman will visit the SouthShore Regional Library, 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin, at 10:30 a.m. Dec.6 to discuss her book, "Aging Artfully."
The book is a photo documentary of 12 San Francisco Bay area women ages 85 to 105, all whom are actively engaged in the arts.
Tea With Two Lumps
The Ruskin Woman's Club will host its annual Christmas tea Dec. 8 at its clubhouse, 503 S. Tamiami Trail, Ruskin.
There will be two sittings: from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Guests will be admitted 15 minutes before the tea begins. The club's historic Swiss chalet will be decorated like a winter wonderland. Members of the club will be serving scones, cakes, sandwiches and other delicacies with several types of tea.
