Summerfield Traffic Calming Issue To Be Discussed

RIVERVIEW - Calming traffic along a short stretch of road near Summerfield will be the topic of discussion in an upcoming get-together.

On Aug. 27, Hillsborough County will organize a public meeting to discuss traffic problems along Silvercreek Drive from Big Bend Road to Cedarfield Drive, near the intersection of Big Bend Road and Summerfield Boulevard in Riverview.

The meeting will take place at the Summerfield Elementary School cafeteria, 11990 Big Bend Road, at 6:30 p.m.

A recommendation to the county commissioners on solving the problem will be based on the meeting.

A possible solution could be the installation of speed humps.
