Your American Idol Is …
The "American Idols Live" tour comes to the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, beginning at 7 p.m.

The top-10 finalists from season seven, including winner David Cook, runner-up David Archuleta and local favorite Syesha Mercado of Sarasota, will perform. Also slated to take part are Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Chikezie Eze, Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns and Ramiele Malubay

FRIDAY
STP Is Back
Following an eight-year touring hiatus, the reunited Stone Temple Pilots will take the stage and rock the Ford Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.

Special guest for the evening is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30.

Got Disco Fever?
Dust off those platform shoes and polyester shirts as FishHawk Ranch hosts the next installment in its summer concert series with Disco Inferno at 7 p.m.

The band promises to wow the crowd with some of the best disco songs of the 1970s.

The concert is part of the community's annual Summer Concert Series at Park Square in the Garden District, 16144 Churchview Drive, Lithia. Bring a blanket or chair. Call (813) 654-6360 for information.

Coins, Currency, Stamps
The nonprofit Brandon Coin Club will host its annual coin, currency and stamp show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brandon Elks Lodge, 800 Centennial Lodge Drive, Brandon.

Visitors can have coins and stamps appraised free. Children 12 and younger will receive free grab bags filled with coins. The "Hobo nickel man" will make etchings on nickels to give children.

SUNDAY
Soap Opera Hunks
ABC soap opera stars Jacob Young, who plays JR Chandler on "All My Children," and Greg Vaughan, who plays Lucky Spencer on "General Hospital," will meet fans from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino's Lobby Bar, 5223 N. Orient Road, Tampa.

Sing Along To Classic
The Summer Classic Movie Series at Tampa Theatre features an interactive presentation of the 1978 musical "Grease" at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

"Sing-A-Long Grease" features on-screen lyrics so the audience can sing along. Come dressed as your favorite character or in a costume inspired by the movie, which starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Tickets are $11.50, $10.50 for students and $9.50 for seniors and available at the box office, 711 N. Franklin St. Call (813) 274-8286.

Horses And Crafts
Things are hopping at the Florida State Fairgrounds this weekend.

The Suncoast Dressage hosts a two-day competition, "Suncoast Sunburn Classic I & II" beginning at 8 a.m. both days at the Bob Thomas Equestrian center. Hours for events and competitions vary; visit www.sdcta.com for information. Admission and parking are free if entering through the Orient Road gate.

Bucklers Craft Fair sets up in the Sweetbay Entertainment Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Available items include handcrafted furniture, folk art, dolls, gourmet delights and one-of-a-kind creations.

Admission is $5; those 12 and younger will be admitted for free. Parking fee is $5. Enter through the U.S. 301 gate.

The fairgrounds are at 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
