Kickin' It Chesney-Style
Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert turn the Ford Amphitheatre country at 7:30 p.m. Chesney is the reigning Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year, and newcomer Lambert earned Album of the Year honors.

Classic Rock Flashback
"Flashback - The Classic Rock Experience," featuring the Mystic Orchestra, comes to the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, at 8 p.m.
The multimedia spectacle features the hits of artists including Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

Blues Comes To Town
Blues musician John Mayer, along with One Republic, will be at the Ford Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa, at 7 p.m.

SUNDAY
Rio On The Wurlitzer
Theater organ legend Rosa Rio of Sun City Center provides live musical accompaniment for the 1927 silent film "Wings" at 3 p.m. at the Tampa Theatre.
Clara Bow stars in the movie, which won the first Academy Award for Best Picture.

ALL WEEKEND
Joyful Sounds
It's time for the Florida Gospel Music Association's 19th annual Fall Music Convention at the Wimauma Convention Center, 5804 State Road 674, Wimauma.
There will be concerts at 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and a special chapel service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with Randy Perry.
Scheduled to perform during the weekend are The Accords, Stephen Jones, Hearts of Harmony, Praise Hymn, Rachel Renee, The Floridians and many other artists.

Hoofin' It
The Florida Quarter Horse Association will have its annual Labor Day weekend circuit horse show in the covered ring at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center of the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
There will be classes for Western and English disciplines, and for youth, novice and amateur riders. Event and class hours vary.
