Dancing The Night Away
Put on your dancing shoes and boogie on over to the Stardust Dance Center to dance the night away.
Donna's Saturday Night Latin Dance will feature The Latin Fun Singers and the Guillo & Marina Floorshow. Dance to the rhythms, boleros, rumba and salsa.
The Stardust Dance Center is at 1405 S. Collins Ave., Plant City, and the fun starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and include snacks. Call (813) 671-3009.
Paying Tribute To Troops
To honor military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, members of Vietnam Veterans of America, Korean War veterans and MacDill Air Force Base personnel will place flags and read the names at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 3602 U.S. 301 N., Tampa. More than 3,800 flags have been placed so far at the Field of Honor, which is updated every three months. Call (813) 744-5502.

Lipizzaners Strut Their Stuff
The internationally acclaimed Lipizzaner Stallions gallop into the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, for two shows at 2 and 6 p.m.
Known as the dancing stallions, the rare breed of snow-white horse is bred for strength, endurance and beauty. During the show, the graceful stride of the horses is choreographed to classical music.
Tickets are $30.25, $26.25 and $22.25, and are available at the box office or by calling Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844.

Ready For The Spotlight?
The call is out for anyone who would like to perform in the musical "Sex After Sixty." Auditions are set for 5 p.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 705 North St. S.E., Ruskin.
The musical calls for four or five males and 12 females. There are one male and two female major singing roles. Four roles are nonsinging, and the rest are chorus singers. Be prepared to perform 16 bars of music. Bring sheet music if possible.

Musical Duo To Perform
The Kiwanis Club Foundation of Sun City Center will sponsor its Exotic Evening at 7:30 Jan. 16, which will feature soprano Yvonne Rene DeChance and pianist Tara Richards Swartzbaugh, at United Community Church, 1501 La Jolla Ave., Sun City Center. Benefit To Offer Variety
The annual variety show to benefit the Mary and Martha House is scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Sun City Center Community Hall, 1910 S. Pebble Beach Blvd., Sun City Center.
Bob Boyd and his 42nd Street Band will show their diverse music range from big band, swing and jazz to contemporary. Vocalist Carolyn Cline and comedian Barry St. Ives are among some of the other performers who will be featured.
Tickets are $12 and available at the Ruskin and Apollo Beach chambers of commerce and the Mary and Martha House, 1009 First St. S.W., Ruskin. For information, call (813) 645-7874.
