TODAY

Lovin', Touchin' ...

The rock group Journey will perform their hits such as "Any Way You Want It" and "Open Arms" when they take the Ford Amphitheatre stage tonight at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Arnel Pineda is Journey's new singer, and some folks say he sounds much like Steve Perry.

The show, which will also feature Heart and Cheap Trick, will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $125 and are available from Ticketmaster, (813) 287-8844, or the box office, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.

Hanging Ten

AMC Entertainment will offer $1 tickets for a 10 a.m. showing today of the feature film "Surf's Up" at the AMC Regency 20, 2496 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon.

The full-length animated comedy is about a penguin who has a passion for surfing and enters a surfing competition. Actors' voices include Shia LaBeouf, Jeff Bridges, Zooey Deschanel, Jon Heder and James Woods.

The showing is part of Summer Movie Camp, which will continue Wednesdays through Aug. 6. Doors open at 9 a.m. Call (813) 243-4955 for information and tickets.

SATURDAY

Camp Bayou Fun

Head to Camp Bayou from 9 a.m. to noon for its free Back To School - Back To Nature event.

Hands-on nature activities such as netting water insects, dragon fly hunts, ant lion safaris, fossil fun and more can earn students free school supplies for each activity station visited.

There also will be giveaway of backpacks and gift certificates.

Camp Bayou is at 4202 24th St. S.E., Ruskin. For information, go to www.campbayou.org.

It's George Michael

Superstar George Michael will perform at the St. Pete Times Forum at 8 p.m. Saturday for his 25 Live tour, which is his first North American tour in 17 years.

Michael will perform songs that span his career from the group Wham! to the present. Tickets range from $56.75 to $151.75 and are available from Ticketmaster, (813) 287-8844, or the St. Pete Times Forum box office, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa.

Play It Again

"Casablanca," one of the greatest films of all time, is the movie on tap for Tampa Theatre's Summer Classic Movie Series. Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman heat up the screen beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $8 and available at the theater's box office, 711 N. Franklin St., Tampa, or by calling (813) 362-4825.

Work On Well-Being

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev will give a free lecture on wisdom, meditation and bliss at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, 2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa.

Sadhguru, a yoga master and founder of Isha Foundation, is the co-author of the book "Midnights with the Mystic: A Little Guide to Freedom and Bliss."
