Carnival Fun
The fall carnival at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, 705 Ninth St. S.E., Ruskin, kicks off at 6 p.m. The event will include a Ferris wheel and other rides, as well as pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, cold drinks and candy apples for sale.
Event hours are: 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday; 6 to 11 p.m. Friday; noon to 11 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Symphonic Rock
Get ready for an all-sensory experience when the Trans-Siberian Orchestra performs at the St. Pete Times Forum at 8 p.m. The show is symphonic rock with the lighting of Pink Floyd, appeal of "Phantom of the Opera," storytelling of "Tommy" and the pyrotechnics of Kiss.

Pick A Pet
Looking for that perfect pet? The ASPCA and No More Homeless Pets host the Fall Pet Adoption Expo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds' Special Events Center, 4800 U.S. 301 N.
More than 20 animal rescue groups will attend, with hundreds of cats and dogs available for adoption at the event, which also features pet merchandise, door prizes and an "Ask the Veterinarian" booth.

Hitting The High Notes
