Go For A Ride At The Bike Rodeo

APOLLO BEACH - Children who mosey on down to the latest rodeo in South Shore will be riding on bicycles instead of horses.

The South Shore Methodist United Church, 435 Apollo Beach Blvd., will host a bike rodeo today from 9 a.m. to noon, or until supplies last. The event is sponsored by the Hillsborough County Sherriff's Office.

Kids are encouraged to bring their bicycles in for safety checks.

Prizes will be awarded to children who successfully complete safety-related tasks.

Children without bicycles are also welcome to participate. Loaner bikes and helmets will be available.
