Give Thanks And Eat

To help feed those who might not have a Thanksgiving dinner, the Ruskin Chamber of Commerce and the South Hillsborough County Service Center advisory board have joined forces to offer a holiday dinner at Beanie's Family Sports Grill, 2002 U.S. 41 S., Ruskin, beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday. Turkey and all the fixings will available for up to 500 people through generous donations.

Friday

See The Choo-Choos

The Model Railroad Club of Sun City Center continues its tradition of hosting an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Members will eagerly show off their trains and give all visiting junior engineers an opportunity to run a train and earn a certificate. For directions, call (813) 634-1414 or visit www.sccmrrc.org.

Ready To Rock

Rock legend Ray Davies of the British Invasion band The Kinks will make a rare U.S. appearance at the Tampa Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday. With his reflective songwriting style, he has a way with poignant guitar melodies and retrospective lyrics. Reserved seats are $38.50 and $48.50. Saturday

No Amp Needed

A guitar concert with no amplifiers? That's what will happen at Fusion SI when Doug "Blazze" Benroth presents a post-modern acoustic concert. Be prepared for a soulful journey from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Summerfield Community Center, 13011 Summerfield Blvd., Riverview. Tickets are $5 and available at the door. Sunday

Listen To The Music

Doug Halper will entertain with an upbeat, mellow performance on the dulcimer from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Unity Community of Joy in the Armstrong Room of the Atrium, 953 N. Course Drive, Sun City Center. Admission is free.

All Weekend

Time To Laugh

It is hard to know where Jamie Kennedy will be from one minute to the next. He's on "Ghost Whisperer" one minute; the next, he is making movies and doing game shows. One thing is for sure, he'll perform four shows at the Tampa Improv Friday through Sunday.

Shows, for ages 21 and older, are scheduled for 8 and 10:30 Friday, 7:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Sunday.

Let's Go Shopping

The Florida State Fairgrounds will host the Buckler's Craft Fair on Saturday and Sunday. One-of-a-kind creations, folk art, dolls, food items and more will be available from artisans and vendors showing their wares. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The $5 adult admission is good for both days with a hand stamp. Children age 12 and younger enter free. Parking is $5 for cars; $10 for RVs and buses. Use the U.S. 301 entrance. The fairgrounds are at 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.

Tuesday

It's Wine Time

Are you ready to learn about wine? Come to the "Time for Wine Event - It's A Taste of European Tradition" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Summerfield Community Center, 13011 Summerfield Blvd., Riverview.

Beginners and professionals can sample a range of wines, learn their varieties and characteristics and discover how to choose the correct wine for different foods. Cheese and crackers will be served. Charles Visalli of Time for Wine will host the event.
