Pumpkin Toss
The animals at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo will have some Halloween fun with their own pumpkin party at 11 a.m. Watch as the animals stomp, chomp, kick, play and pounce on their special treats.
The pumpkin toss is included with the regular admission prices: adult, $18.95; seniors (60 and older), $17.95; ages 3 to 11, $14.50; and children 2 and younger, free. The zoo is at 1101 W. Sligh Ave. For information, visit www.lowry parkzoo.com or call (813) 935-8552.
M*A*S*H Bash
The SS American Victory's popular M*A*S*H Bash "bivouacs" aboard the restored 63-year-old merchant cargo vessel return for the third year.
The event, from 6 to 9 p.m. features a silent auction with proceeds supporting the ship's youth maritime education programs and the vessel's continuing restoration.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the gangplank and include food, beverages, ship tours and more.

Mystery Map Fun
The Friends of the Little Manatee River State Park promise "A Day at The Circus" for its Mystery Map event beginning at 8 a.m. at the park, 215 Lightfoot Road, Wimauma.
Equestrians and hikers may encounter colorful clowns or other whimsy in the woods as they navigate through this year's event, which is a fundraiser to help the Little Manatee State Park.

Rock, Rib & Rides
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is sponsoring the Brandon Foundation's inaugural four-day Rock, Rib & Ride Festival on Thursday through Sunday at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The festival will include midway rides, games, a rib tasting competition, a fashion show, a poker run and concerts by country artist Neil McCoy at 7 p.m. Friday and Blue Oyster Cult at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Hours are: 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for ages 12 and older; $5 for ages 3 to 11; and free for ages 2 and younger. Home Sweet Home
Florida's Largest Fall Home Show takes place Friday through Sunday at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
Held in the Expo Hall, the show features the latest products and services in remodeling, decorating, landscaping and furnishings.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8, $7 for ages 55 and older and free for ages 11 and younger. Parking is $5.

MONDAY
Ready Those Questions
Now's the time to ask a question you never thought you could during the Balm Civic Association's candidates' forum at 7 p.m. Monday in the Balm Civic Center, 14747 Balm-Wimauma Road.
Candidates expected to show are running for Hillsborough County Commission districts 4 and 6, supervisor of elections, property appraiser and school board.
Also invited are U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, R-Bartow, and his Democratic opponent, Doug Tudor.
The moderator will be Marcella O'Steen, president of the association.
Come prepared with questions.
