Gibsonton Man Charged With Growing Marijuana Plants

TAMPA - A Gibsonton man is being held at the Orient Road Jail this morning, accused of growing five marijuana plants in a bedroom closet, records show.

Robert Ashcraft, 35, is charged with felony possession and cultivation of marijuana. His bail is set at $4,000, jail records show.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested Ashcraft about 4:44 p.m. Monday after searching his house at 9009 Wiggins Road, an affidavit states.
