Public to discuss traffic calming in Balm

BALM - Motorists and pedestrians in the southeastern part of Hillsborough County will get a chance to voice their concerns at an upcoming gathering.

The Hillsborough County Public Works Department will host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss traffic problems along Balm Road from State Road 672 to Balm-Wimauma Road, near the intersection of McGrady Road and State Road 672.

The meeting will take place at the Balm Recreation Center, 14747 Balm-Wimauma Road.

A possible solution could be speed humps.

A recommendation to county commissioners on solving this traffic problem will be based on this meeting.
