SUN CITY CENTER - The Elegant Gardeners Club of Sun City Center will sponsor four to six high school or grade school students who will attend environmental conferences and camps this summer.

Applications can be submitted in February, once information is posted on the Web sites for the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, at www.ffgc .org and www.sccegc.org.

Applicants must demonstrate their interest in gardening, nature, wildlife and the environment. Students and their families must provide their own transportation to the camps.
High school students will attend an intensive environmental conference for four days produced by Save the Earth's Environment through Knowledge, or SEEK. Younger students through eighth grade can attend Wekiva Youth Camp or Critter Camp.
