Pastor charged with molestation

RIVERIVEW A church pastor has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation in connection with a March 2007 incident involving a 12-year-old girl.

Jose A. Dossantos, 42, of 7013 Early Gold Lane, Riverview, was arrested June 18. He was released the following day after posting a surety bond.

Records indicate Dossantos is the pastor of Potters House Church in Tampa.

The molestation was reported to deputies in February, sheriff's reports say.

Man accused of sex with teen

RUSKIN Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested 36-year-old Aaron Perkins of Mobile, Ala., on June 18 on three counts of sexual activity with a minor.

Perkins told investigators he thought the girl was 17 during the first two sexual encounters but believed the girl was 16 during the third, deputies said. Perkins' bail was set at $45,000.
