Expo Organizers High On Attendance

APOLLO BEACH - The Ruskin Chamber of Commerce hosted its Second Annual Shop Ruskin Chamber First Business Expo March 26 at the MiraBay Villages Shopping Center. More than 1,000 visitors turned out to see the products and services of 97 South Shore businesses.
"It couldn't have been more perfect," said Melanie Morrison, the chamber's executive director. "So Many people came up to me and said they didn't know all these businesses existed in South Shore, and that's what this expo is all about."
Visitors were treated to free, food samples samples at a number of booths, including Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Sa Va Cafe, Council & Sons Farms, 2 Hot Peppers.com and Just Brew It!
The family event also included free activities for kids and an antique car display.
