RUSKIN - Many Hillsborough residents have strong opinions about the area's immediate and long-term future.
County Commissioner Mark Sharpe will share his own vision during a Nov. 14 community meeting at the SouthShore Regional Library, 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin.
The gathering will start at 10 a.m. and feature a blueprint presentation that will show how the county can set itself apart from other regions in the state and across the country. The presentation will focus on transportation, economic development and education.
Sharpe was first elected to the county commission in 2004. He was re-elected in 2006 to serve a full, four-year term. In November 2007 he was chosen by his other commissioners to serve as the board's vice chairman.
