Riverview man charged with possessing child pornography

TAMPA - A lawn-care business owner was charged with 242 counts of possessing child pornography he downloaded from the Internet to his home computer, an arrest affidavit states.

Charles Allen Williams, 59, of 11630 Monette Road, Riverview, was being held in the Orient Road Jail this morning, jail record show. Bail was set at $500,000.

Hillsborough County deputies served a search warrant at Williams' home Sept. 15, and computers and disks were seized. Williams told detectives he downloaded the images and showed detectives where more disks were stored in another room, the affidavit said.

The images were of children that appeared to range from 1 to 14 years old and depicted various sexual situations, including bondage, the affidavit said.

Detectives reviewed the disks and arrested Williams on Monday.
