I want our leaders to know that here in Sebring, we support bold action on climate and energy, including a cap on carbon pollution. Capping carbon pollution will ignite the transition to clean energy, end our dependence on dirty fossil fuels and put America on a path toward economic recovery. ...more

I am against red light cameras because they contribute to accidents and absurd fines, which is taxation by our lazy government. Next year the government will further their lack of discretion by proposing that red light violators be tracked by satellite to their home for culpability confirmation, ticket-point issuance and search of your home. Stand up for your rights and red-light our unreasonable government. Most everyone I speak to convey their concerns about our economy and the future. Yet statistics indicate that some 90 percent of our Congress was re-elected. It would appear that change is unlikely when you keep the same failed leadership in office. At a time when most people are struggling, major banks that have obtained taxpayer monies through bailout programs have decided to "help" the consumer by lowering credit limits and increasing interest rates. Isn't it ironic that banks such as Bank of America, Citicorp., HSBC, etc., which have obtained so much of our money to cover their screw-ups, now want to turn the screws on the consumer even further than they have in the past? ...more

I am outraged that our country would even consider amnesty for illegals at a time when our economy is in the state that it is. Our welfare, healthcare, senor citizen's care system is strained as it is and adding more to the system will be devastating to our country. Immigration amnesty legislation being introduced allows the one here to bring in relatives? What is wrong with the fools in Congress? People need to take action on the nonsense now! ...more
