Tides pushed by Hurricane Ike surged 2 to 3 feet above normal this morning, causing some minor flooding in low areas of the Tampa Bay area. The National Weather Service has received reports of street flooding in Shore Acres in Pinellas County as well as water pushing over docks in St. Pete Beach.
