Regarding "Dungy Son Transfer Produces Questions" (front page, Jan. 16): Congratulations on beginning an inquiry on the abuse of special school assignments by athletes in Hillsborough County. Please continue your investigation. It would be interesting to know how many special transfers are approved so kids can play sports at a "good" school. If the district doesn't want to give names (and I understand that in the case of minors) they should at least have to provide accurate data on how many transfers subsequently play a varsity sport at their new school. ...more
